About Us
A Modern Mercantile
Step inside Two Score Reserve and find yourself transported to a general store reminiscent of the type found in the early 20th century. Hand-crafted leather goods sit on shelves next to jewelry, accessories, and home goods made by local artists. Unique fashion items curated from around the country and around the world hang on the walls next to dried flower arrangements made in Pittsburgh. Produce and other local provisions grown just a country mile away are available for purchase along with bouquets of seasonal fresh flowers that started as seeds on a farm just down the road. One-of-a-kind gifts–whether for yourself or someone else–can be found around every corner. Always something interesting. Always something new.

An Historic Village
Located an hour south of Pittsburgh and thirty minutes from Morgantown, the village of Scenery Hill has a long history of unique shops and businesses. Best known for the infamous Century Inn and the renowned Westerwald Pottery, the town has also been anchored by long-term businesses like Jan’s Tea Shoppe, Kenny’s Grocery, The Pepper Mill, and the Tradesmen’s Inn. The recently resurrected Beck-Ringland Tavern (originally opened in 1827!) now offers another yet gathering place in town for food, live music, and craft beer brewed on site. Scenery Hill draws visitors from far and wide…and from just around the corner. Come to shop, dine, and drink. Stay for the day or the whole weekend!

A Name with a Meaning
The name Two Score Reserve is a nod to the history of the town and the building that houses the store. Scenery Hill is situated on Route 40, which was the first road fully funded by the federal government in the early 19th century. Also known as The National Road or Old Pike, the establishment of this road increased prosperity for small towns, including Scenery Hill, as travelers made their way west. “Two Score” acknowledges the importance of the store’s location on this important road - Route 40.
“Reserve” comes from the history of the building itself. The First National Bank of Scenery Hill opened its doors in this very building in 1904 and remained in business and printed currency until 1935. When you visit the store, you can step inside the original vault and check out how it’s been repurposed for modern use!
